Other: | Minimum Qualifications:
Good knowledge of life history, anatomy, and ecology of various fish species.
Experience identifying various fish species, collecting and marking fish in a scientific manner.
Experience managing, summarizing, or analyzing biological data using a personal computer to manipulate data.
Valid driver's license.
Willing to participate and to instruct in fishing activities.
Some knowledge of supervisory practices (see question 6).

Participates in hiring workers.
Assigns work and evaluates performance.
Plans and develops work schedules.
Trains workers in fish-data collection and fish marking techniques.
Interviews anglers.
Collects fish by electrofishing, gillnetting, or trawling.
Operates fish traps to collect fish movement data.
Occasionally assists in enforcing fish and game laws.
