Description:
The Seedbank Project Coordinator will serve to support a partnership between the North Carolina Botanical Garden and the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew Millennium Seed Bank Project. The Millennium Seed Bank Project is an international collaborative plant conservation initiative that aims to safeguard 24,000 plant species from around the globe against extinction. The role of the North Carolina Botanical Garden is to coordinate the collecting, processing, and storage of 250 native Southeastern United States plants. The Seedbank Project Coordinator will be based at the North Carolina Botanical Garden and will develop, implement, and manage this partnership.
