Employees will travel extensively to include moderate overnight travel.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants will be required to obtain an Alabama commercial driver’s license during the probationary period.
Applicants will be required to become a certified pesticide applicator during the probationary period.

Description: | This is responsible manual field work. Employees in this class assist in the general management of School Trust lands, Swamp and Overflow lands, Muscle Shoals lands, and other State lands. Employees will assist in the marking of boundary/property lines; assist in herbicide application; assist in controlled forest burns; assist in timber sales; assist in the classification of State lands; assist in the evaluation and enforcement of lessee compliance with the terms and conditions of State leases; transport and operate field/heavy equipment; monitor timber sales; and perform related work as assigned.
