Description: | Little St. Simons Island is a 12,000 acre undeveloped barrier island. A small lodge (30 guests max.) is operated with a nature/wildlife theme to activities. The Naturalist is responsible for on-site environmental education, ecology tours, and outdoor recreation activities for the Lodge's guests. Other duties include overall ecological management of the Island (i.e. deer management, wetlands monitoring, sea turtles, precribed burning,other). Nightly hosting of oyster roasts, cocktails and interaction with guests. |
