Description: | The two interns will be assisting the Southcentral Region Forestry Unit
with the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of
programs designed to manage, protect, and enhance forest resources on
State Game Lands within the PA Game Commission’s Southcentral
Region.
This work may include, but is not limited to, collecting stand data,
marking timber according to various silvicultural prescriptions, inspecting
and maintaining deer exclosures, controlling inhibiting vegetation (fern,
striped maple), and performing other related duties as assigned. All
common forestry tools will be utilized in the completion of the assigned
work. |
