COORDINATE BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES FOR FORESTRY (BMP) PROGRAM IN
ELEVEN COUNTIES OF THE MIDLANDS AREA. DUTIES INCLUDE MAKING BMP
RECOMMENDATIONS ON ACTIVE LOGGING OPERATIONS, DELIVERING EDUCATIONAL
PROGRAMS, RESPONDING TO FORESTRY-RELATED WATER QUALITY COMPLAINTS,
CONDUCTING AERIAL SURVEYS, AND MONITORING BMP COMPLIANCE AND
EFFECTIVENESS. CONDUCT INTERNAL TRAINING AND PROVIDE INFORMATION
AND ASSISTANCE REGARDING ENDANGERED SPECIES MANAGEMENT AS RELATES
TO FORESTRY.
