Other: | This is a re-announcement for this position. Minimum qualifications require 1 years work experience equivalent to a Forester with a 4-year forestry degree or Associate Wildlife Biologist. Minimum Qualifications:
One year of professional level experience equivalent to an Associate Wildlife Biologist.
OR
One year of professional level experience equivalent to a Forester which requires a degree in forestry from a four year college or university which must have included at least one course (5 hours) in game management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications plus
(1) Preference will be given to applicants with a Masters of Science in Wildlife management, or a Masters of Forestry in Forest Management.
(2) Preference will be given to applicants with experience in managing forested habitats including prescribed burning, cruising, inventory, marking timber, preparing and implementing wildlife management plans, and evaluating
management practices.
(3) Preference will be given to applicants with GPS and computer software experience (e.g., GPS, GIS, T-cruse, and ArcView).
(4) Preference will be given to applicants with at least 6 months experience with ArcView
