Other: | Education/experience requirements:
The equivalent of a high school diploma
Two years experience working with the public in vehicle maintenance or heavy equipment construction
Ability to:
Read maps and follow directions.
Maintain and repair vehicles and equipment
Operate heavy equipment
Prepare and present oral and written reports/material
Other Requirements:
AFC Residency policy: Forest Rangers and County Foresters must live in their area of responsibility or within fifteen road miles of their assigned work center
Forest Rangers, County Foresters, State Forest Foreman, Forest Technicians, and AFC Investigators must meet physical fitness standards annually. |
