Description: | During this 12-week REU program (May 21-August 13), each student will work with an advisor on an individual research project at one of two labs located on the Chesapeake Bay: the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science's (UMCES) Chesapeake Biological Laboratory at Solomons, Maryland, or its Horn Point Laboratory, at Cambridge, Maryland.

Benefits: | The Maryland Sea Grant Program, with support from the National Science Foundation will provide each fellow with a stipend of $3,700, dormitory costs and round-trip travel expenses. |
