The DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES at NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY invites applicants for a 12-month, tenure-track position in Forest Hydrology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level; the appointment is 40% teaching, 40% research and 20% extension. Responsibilities include ... :: Teaching a senior course in Watershed and Wetlands Hydrology and a graduate course in the candidate’s area of interest
:: Advising and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students
:: Developing a strong externally funded research program
:: Participation in the Environmental Sciences, Watershed Hydrology curriculum
:: Serving as a member of the NCSU Water Resources Committee that manages the Graduate Minor in Water Resources
:: Extension programming in water quality, forestry BMPs, and management of forested wetlands
