May include marking and clearing trail route with power or hand tools restoring eroded sections of trail and improving drainage; removing fallen timber; patrolling trails to assess maintenance needs; building timber bridges; installing signs; determining use levels. May serve as part of a trail crew or individually; may involve camping out in the backcountry 95%.  Assist with other natural and cultural resource management operations 5%.
