Description: | Provide state-wide leadership in developing, implementing, and evaluating Cooperative Extension 4-H Youth Development programming in environmental and natural resources education, including camping and outdoor and leisure education; serve on DASNR Second Century Natural Resources and 4-H teams; and provide leadership for the Second Century Initiaive 4-H Environmental Education Impact Team. 2. Develop comprehensive, research-based youth development program with emphasis on programs such as environmental stewardship, shooting sports, camping and outdoor education. 3. Develop collaborative working relationships with extension specialists and other faculty in the Department collaborative working relationships with extension specialists and other faculty in the Department of Forestry, faculty in other Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (DASNR) departments. 4. Maintain cooperative working relationships with administrators and faculty in the DASNR, and with OCES district staff and extension educators. 5. Participate in appropriate national, regional, and state professional organizations and maintain cooperative relationship with related agencies to further the mission of OSU, the DASNR, and the OCES. |
