Outreach
The student-driven outreach program at UGHS is entering its second year. More than a dozen programmers and volunteers are bringing live reptiles and amphibians into classrooms in the Clarke County area this semester. These interactions, along with future programs at facilites such as the Sandy Creek Nature Center, Clarke County Public Libraries, the McPhaul Child Care Center, and regional Boy couts and Girl Scouts of America centers, will bring together our society and our community and educate the public about the incredible hidden biodiversity of herps.
If you have live animals and associated knowledge that you'd like to share with the community, or are interested in recieveing a program for your school, organization or other event, please contact one of the following outreach coordinators as their title applies to your organization:
