If possible, choose a location where deer and other wildlife will not interfere with the production of crops for doves. Deer will eat young sunflowers and corn. Crows, wild turkeys and other birds will eat planted seed or sorghum, corn and sunflowers. Deer and raccoons will eat finished corn and sorghum. Birds of many kinds will attack sorghum heads. Browntop millet and dove prove are the least likely to be damaged by other wildlife.
