Tennessee Valley Authority
An internship or co-op experience at TVA combines real-world experience, up-close, hands-on opportunities, and work activities that will help you gain professional experience in your field of study, at the nation's largest public power provider. The Intern/Co-op Program serves as a recruiting source for potential hires, the majority of students filling positions identified as potentially vacant or new in the workforce plan. College students have the opportunity to preview the work environment in their field of study and apply classroom learning. TVA employs interns and co-op students for fall, spring, and summer work terms as well as winter holiday breaks. Co-op students generally commit to work more than one term and alternate school and work terms based on a schedule developed jointly by TVA and the student's school.
