About the Symposium
You are invited to attend a Symposium on Conservation and Management of Big-eared Bats in the Eastern United States in Athens, Georgia on March 9-11, 2010. The program will include two and a half days of poster and oral presentations covering the biology, ecology, conservation, and management of big-eared bats (including Ozark, Virginia, and Rafinesque’s big-eared bats) in the eastern United States.
The symposium will bring together land managers, researchers, natural resources administrators, and students interested in eastern big-eared bats. Oral presenters may submit a manuscript for possible publication in the symposium proceedings. For general questions, contact Steven Castleberry. Check this web site frequently for updates.
All activities for the symposium will be held at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education located on the University of Georgia campus.
