We also would like to thank Dr. Mary Clinthorne (Grand Valley State
University) for assigning projections to the Brown and Pickett
GIS databases.  Originally these were "hypothetical" databases,
and a projection system was not assigned.  Now they are suitable 
for use in ArcGIS 8+.  All computations suggested in the book 
should result in similar answers whether one uses ArcView or 
ArcGIS products.
