Introduction
This web site has been designedto facilitate creating and printing your annual Faculty Activities Report(FAR). It does this by storing information on the server in a passwordprotected database. Information is entered by you, the faculty, byfilling in text boxes on the web pages that follow. Once completed,the stored information can be printed by yourself or the administrativeassistants in the department. There are two separate password systemsused, one for editing the information and one for printing/displaying theinformation, thus, only you can edit your information though others mayread it. This web site is now in its second year of operation and many changes have been made thanks to your feedback. For example, expanded input fields have been added for many activities. Also, the ability to delete information and to re-order already added information is now available (for 1999-on data).

Instructions
There are four generic kindsof pages on this web site. The "Start Page" you are viewing rightnow. It allows you to put in your Username and Password before beginningto enter any information.
The second page-type is the"Outline Page". It displays an outline of the FAR so that you canjump to any section at any time. It also displays the date each sectionwas last modified.
The third page-type is the"Display FAR" page. It reads out the information stored in your databaseand displays it suitable for printing from the browser window.
The fourth type of pages are the input pages. For each section of the FAR there is an inputpage that contains instructions for that section, a display of any informationalready entered for that section, a delete mechanism for entries mis-entered,and an input section for entering new information. These pages havea generic look-and-feel that includes a title section at the top and a'navigation bar' at the bottom. The firstediting page also contains specific instructions on how to enter informationinto the text boxes.

Username/Password Verification
At this time, you should proceed to the "OutlinePage" by entering your Username and Password below and pressing the "Enter Info"button. You can return to this page at any time by pressing the "StartPage" button at the bottom of any screen.

To enter information into the database, please type in the Username and (editing) Password below.

To display a particular faculty member's FAR, please type in the Username and (reading) Password below.
